Or, possibly creep you out. At first I was a little creeped out, but now I'm laughing too much to BE creeped out. Honestly. I just. I don't even.

I wish it was mine. I really do. XD;;;

Latest in the String of Crises )

I've decided I should balance out the negative things I say in this journal by choosing a positive thing to talk about as well. I've done quite well in my classes this semester. If I managed a 70% on my Physiology final, it will be straight A's. I still don't know what I should do with my life, but that's a negative so not discussing that. Anyway, with the stress of school (sorta) out of the way, I've spent almost every waking moment of the last three days hanging out with my friends from home. It's really great getting to see them again. But with the car gone next week, I don't know if we'll be able to -- Negative again. Dangit.

Let's just skip to happy holidays everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas or Hanukkah or Eid or Kwanzaa or whatever you might happen to celebrate or even if you celebrate nothing at all.  Just a heads-up, my schedule will consist of being gone from 12/23-12/26 and 1/1 - 1/?.  I doubt I'll be making another post from now until the end of the year, so I'll just say it now -- thanks for a great year, everyone.  Last year at this time, I only had Ledah at ME -- Now I'm up to what, 9 characters?  Once again, I'm so glad I was able to meet all of you.  Thanks for everything.

Amazon totally got lucky. I think I'll play it safe from now on and ship to the house.

Also, unrelated: Oliver got a bone--a REAL bone--from Ms. Turner down the hall. Oliver has been guarding that bone like mad tonight. When the courier rang the doorbell, Oliver ran to the door barking, then once he was sure everything was all right, ran back to his bone. XD Dog knows his priorities, I guess...

... Keesha, if she finds out what happened, may not be too pleased with me. Or less pleased than she already is. She's kinda surly and has a problem with me, I think. (I blame Joseph, who knows she seems to have some kind of crush on or liking for him, and makes it seem like he and I have a thing going on, never mind the fact that he's married with kids roughly ten years younger than me. I can't say for sure.) A week or two ago, I went on a website called InfoUSA that acts as a database for companies and their listings. OCFS's phone number shows up there as my phone number. I put in a request to have it changed to 1788, Keesha's number, because she's the receptionist and I'm in IT. I should not be getting calls that should be answered by the receptionist, and it's been happening for YEARS now. Before I got the position. And no one's bothered to fix it.

So anyway, a woman from InfoUSA called me today, and I had her change the main phone number and told her it's our receptionist. It hasn't changed yet, but I'm hoping it takes a little bit to be updated. Hopefully, soon, she'll get all those phone calls she's supposed to have been getting, and my phone will only ring when it's relevant to IT.

And yeah, if she figures it out, she's not gonna be happy. I told Maureen I was feeling very mischievous afterward. XD;; I don't care, it's her job, so BLAH. Mreheheh.

So Amazon shipped my most recent order (with the textbook in it) via a courier service called A1 International, and from what I've been reading, they absolutely SUCK. Couriers come all hours of the night, say they attempted delivery when they didn't, say they delivered a package when they never showed, do a half-assed ding-dong-ditch and throw the package at the door and run without even knocking or ringing. My package is supposed to come today, and if it doesn't, Amazon's getting a nasty e-mail. It was delayed on Saturday due to the weather, and I understand that. The status hasn't updated since then. I'd be satisfied with another update. (And even then, they can't say it's due to weather, because the streets are more or less clean. As clean as they're gonna get without the sun melting all the snow and slush away.) Actually, scratch that, I won't be satisfied with another update, because I pay $79 a year for two-day shipping.

Rrrgh. I've been anxious about it all day, because I really don't want to go through the hassles some others have gone through. If I have problems, I might have to ship EVERYTHING to PA, and if I find out they have subcontractors up there, too (unlikely), then Amazon will just have to lose a customer.

Just got an e-mail from A1 saying their records show the package is out for delivery, up to 8pm today. (I've seen reports of packages being delivered at midnight and even 3am.) We'll see what happens. Would be nice if the tracking info would update!

Sigh. I want my movie. Next order's going to the house. Maybe it'll be delivered by UPS then.

... so far, my GPA at LaGuardia is a 4.0.

An A in drawing and an A in psychology, baby. That's exactly what I wanted to do--hit the ground running. Now to keep going.

95 on the psychology term paper, by the way.

I caved and got a Formspring. Weak, Nami! So weak. Anyway, go ahead and ask me whatever, no matter how rude or obnoxious or silly it might be. You have the power of anonymity on your side. Now I'm off to school! It's supposed to winter-storm tonight...watch me get snowed in and have to stay in campus overnight. Haha NO.

So I just went checking to see if the books I'll need for Spring are up yet, and decided to check and see if Intro to Design had a book, and *GASP!* it does! Ordered it from one person on Amazon first because it was only $15 and fulfilled by Amazon, which meant free two-day shipping for me... until I checked the order status and it said the book wouldn't get there until after Christmas. And then I looked at the delivery estimate. December 26 - February 18. AHAHAHA. Should TOTALLY not be listed if it's out of stock. So I ordered straight from Amazon just to be absolutely safe. Not as cheap as I wanted it, but I still saved $5 off the school bookstore's price.

I am SO TIRED. Dealing with a massive chocolate craving right now, so I think I'm about to go snag a brownie and some milk, then get in my bed.

... when opening the door to people you don't know might be a problem, and Oliver possibly scared one of them away.

There was a guy with a messenger bag knocking on Wally's door (and as such, I couldn't see his face), and Oliver started barking. I went to the peephole and looked, and saw the guy. Next time I looked, the guy was knocking on the door next to ours, but he stayed away from ours, and I really think it's because he heard Oliver. And Oliver's a small guy, but he has a BIG bark. I know that response is hardwired into him, but I gave him a treat anyway. Whenever he does something like that (this time being the only time I've seen where there was someone suspicious around) or starts growling at someone walking behind us when it's dark, I pet him and whisper "Good boy." Because he always does it for a reason.

Term paper for General Psychology hasn't been graded yet. I've checked probably 60 times today even though I know it likely won't be done until the weekend at the earliest. XD;

Six of my drawings from class have been uploaded. Four oil pastels and two perspectives drawings. Prof. Mayer explained what was wrong with the oil pastel drawing of Oliver's bed, and it totally made sense. ^_^

INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population.
Free Jung Personality Test (similar to Myers-Briggs/MBTI)

Same result I've always had since I started taking these tests in seventh grade (or earlier? P: ). I have a better, more in depth chart I got from my mandatory leadership class thinger in college, which I think does better, but then it's supposed to, because it was, like, an official test which gave me a whole packet of paper at the end once scores had been calculated. :B
